Review of How To Get Out Of Debt

Millions of consumers have become trapped in a spiral of debt, but there is hope. If you wants to free yourself from the shackles of debt, this book is for you–it can help you “get out of debt, stay out of debt, and live prosperously.” Jerrold Mundis writes in a friendly, engaging style, urging readers to stop the cycle of spending. Mundis knows what he’s talking about–he, too, was once thousands of dollars in debt and didn’t know where to turn. Anecdotes from Debtors Anonymous folks, plus multiple examples from the writer’s own life and ledgers, make How to Get Out of Debt an encouraging read, not a condescending one. Once you start your program, you may want to periodically reread some chapters for inspiration–and fun.

Mundis flies a countercultural flag: debt is “wholly unnecessary,” and “bankruptcy is not an option.” He offers a brief discussion of formal debt-handling methods and several very practical money management techniques from his own hard-won experience. Solutions depend entirely on the use of personal resources, and many Mundis remedies would be hard to apply outside of single-person, middle-class households. Despite its narrow focus, the book’s thorough coverage of the Debtors Anonymous approach… read more –This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

An exciting step-by-step guide on how to painlessly liquidate debts, escalate income and improve the quality of life.

Based on the proven strategies of the national organization, Debtors Anonymous, this invaluable program offers numerous options that will enable individuals to pay off debts at a rate they can afford.

Create a good dating profile

Believe me, the best way to create a foolproof profile on dating site is to do as I did: get advice from someone of the opposite sex. This is what resulted for me:
A funny and effective description, on the other hand, in my opinion, can tip the balance that remains uncertain in front of a series of photos. Here you can find the best dating site with review. I live in a fairly touristy area and I often come across foreign profiles, always full of details. An example: M., 39 years old, professor at Google: “In Amalfi for a few days, let’s meet! Lover of philosophy and literature. Patient Listener. Fan of Hugs. Former triathlete and swimmer. Feminist. Cook. Ethically not monogamous. Let’s sit together in front of a fire ”.
Describe yourself, and preferably be witty. Some time ago I had this sentence in my description: “I have already installed and uninstalled Tinder twice, try not to be the reason why I will do it the third”. It was true (and I was quite demoralized) but unnecessarily snooty and unpleasant and in fact I matched very little.

Guys, Girls and Money…

I’m convinced that guys and gals feel very differently about money. For guys, it’s something that should be used for the moment. Kinda like gas for the car. Or going out for a night on the town.

But, gals feel a little differently. They tend to invest in the stock market. They’re in it for the long term and they tend to think ahead.

Now, I could be wrong. I am half the time.

Online Dating And Getting Stood Up

Well, I was officially stood up recently. I don’t think that’s happened since high school (a lifetime ago). But, there I was, waiting inside a local pub… waiting for a first meet with someone who seemed charming enough online. I was ready to break in a brand new credit card and everything!

But, she never showed.

So, being the optimist, I e-mailed her (calling seemed a little confrontational, given that I met her online) and asked, “So, I may have gotten the night mixed up. We were set to meet each other at so-and-so pub at 7:30 tonight, right?”

No reply.

So, it’s on to the next online dating opportunity! I’ll report back soon. 🙂

The New Reality Of Dating

Back when I was in college (when men carried clubs and dragged their knuckles while trying to impress women), the rules of dating were different.

Today, everything has changed. You can now meet your perfect match online. You can filter out the riff-raff by analyzing profiles. Start with e-mail, then maybe a phone call and guys, if you’re lucky, you may get that lunch date to wow her.

I’ve put together a quick page with resources about the new online dating rules…

online dating rules

Over the next several weeks, months (years?), I’ll be posting some dating experiences. Some will be mine. Some will be from some of my friends (both male and female). Hopefully, you’ll find them entertaining. With a little luck, you’ll learn from some of my bad moves.

Ready? 🙂
